Resume Application Email

A resume application email is an email which is written by a person to apply for a job position in a company by sending across his/her resume or curriculum vitae. The email must be framed carefully, using a formal format and should consist of the brief description of the skills of the candidate. The email must also state the job position for which the candidate is applying. A sample is provided below.

Respected Sir,

I am Patricia Jones and I am writing this mail to apply for the position of a radio jockey at your radio station-Radio Pink. I can assure you that I will perform all the duties to the best of my abilities and will prove to be a great addition to your team.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Radio Jockeying from London and have been working as a voice over assistant on a freelance basis for 2 years. I have also done a few radio commercials over the past 2 years and thus have the experience of lending my voice to radio shows. I have a feminine and clear voice and a strong control over the language. I am witty, smart and have a presence of mind which helps me with this job.
