Subject: Goodbye email to leaving co-worker

Dear Sarah,

The very first thing, congratulation for your new job and new life! It is both good and slightly sad to know that you are leaving us. We are really going to miss you. You have been a wonderful colleague, one of the rare agreeable people to work with. Personally, I have learnt a lot from you and I will definitely miss working with you. I will miss our lunches together, our little tea break session and working late nights when there was rush at tight deadlines. I will always remember the XYZ Project we did together, when we had to travel to Chicago. I had a really good time with you. It was your promptness; positive attitude and swift cooperation that helped us finish the work efficiently. Not only we performed well but because of you, we managed to have time for us. We all admired how you could handle pressure without getting tensed and that was something very positive to witness. Above all I personally feel you are a worker with high integrity and work ethics and I am very proud to have been able to work with you.

Wishing you a future with flying colours and I am sure you will excel.

Warm Regards,
