Subject: Follow up email for recruitment process
Respected Mr. Neil,
This email is to follow up regarding the interview I appeared for in your organization on 10th of August 2012 for the position of a sales executive. I was asked to get in touch with the HR department regarding the status of my interview; that is the reason for sending this email.
I believe that my interview was satisfactory as the interviewer was quite impressed by my answers. He even did agree with me on a number of points and did appreciate me. We did discuss about my expectations and he sounded fine with the amount I expect as salary. Above that my previous work experience of two years in the position of a sales executive will prove to be in accordance to the job requirement. I have received honors and awards for my previous performance as a sales person. I am a very hard working individual with excellent convincing and rapport building skills.
I would request you to mail me the result of the interview or the date by which the result would be informed. I will be looking forward to a positive reply from your end.
