Dear Mr. MacMillan,
Please express my sincere condolences at the loss of your company’s general manager Mr. John Harding.
I had the good fortune to have interacted with Mr. Harding on many occasions and have done a lot of business with your company under Mr. Harding’s leadership. He was not only a gentleman but also eventually became a close friend of mine. He was a role model for so many young employees and I am sure his guidance and enthusiasm will be sorely missed by everyone. I hope to visit your office shortly and meet you personally.
I am sorry to say that I won’t be able to attend Mr. Harding’s funeral due to prior commitments. I hope his family finds strength to deal with this loss and I pray that his soul rests in peace.
With regards and good wishes for better times to come.
