Respected HR Manager,

The purpose of this email is to convey my sincerest apologies to you for missing the scheduled interview that I had with Mr. Ronald Peterson on 3rd January 2013 at 5:00 PM. I truly regret the inconvenience that might have caused you. I wish to express my sincerest apologies to you for such behaviour.

The interview was very important for me as I look forward to be a part of an esteemed organisation like yours and contribute significantly to its growth. I had an emergency at my home which I could not avoid and therefore I had to miss such an important interview. Sir, I truly respect your time and consideration for scheduling an appropriate interview for me and I deeply respect you and your company for that. Through this email I would like to request you to kindly reschedule an interview for me as per your convenience.

I am greatly interested to be employed at your organisation. I look forward for an opportunity to discuss my qualifications and credentials in a better way. I am deeply sorry for the missed interview.
