Respected Mr. George,

I am, William Joe, senior assistant of Glorious Enterprises Limited. I am sending this email to apologise from you for the cancellation of the meeting that was scheduled for 22nd June 2013. This is in reference to the meeting that was to be held for the discussions related to the recent financial project. I would like to sincerely express my apologies to you for the cancellation of the meeting.

Sir, the meeting has been cancelled because several employees and individuals who were called in for the meeting have informed us that they will not be able to mark their presence on the scheduled date. Due to their urgent appointments, they will not be able to attend the meeting. Without their presence, the meeting would not have been successful and fruitful and thus we had to get it cancelled. I wish to convey my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused.

The meeting is due, and would take place at some other date. I will call you to check your availability and schedule it on the convenient basis. I once again apologise for the cancellation.
